On November 23, 2025—what would have been Mamie Till-Mobley's 104th birthday—the Emmett Till Interpretive Center in partnership with The Institute for Common Power and the Maryland Lynching Memorial Project hosted a national teach-in honoring the lives and legacies of Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley. Featured guests included Patrick Weems, Executive Director of the Emmett Till Interpretive Center, Gloria Dickerson, Founder and CEO of We2Gether Creating Change, and Dr. Terry Anne Scott, Director of The Institute for Common Power.
