On July 25, 2023, President Biden signed an Executive Order creating the Emmett Till & Mamie-Till Mobley National Monument. We would like to thank Congressman Bennie Thompson, the Tallahatchie County Board of Supervisors, and all of our supporters for their help in creating the new national monument.
However, this designation does not come with federal funding. We continue to depend on your generosity and donations to uplift the legacies of Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley through museum interpretation, public education, memorialization and historic preservation and community development. Donate here to help.

An integral program of our center has always been the museum interpretation of local historical sites related to the story of Emmett Till. Our center, located across the street from the courthouse of the Emmett Till murder trial, provides tours and information about this historic location. To book a tour with us online, click below.
