Beginning September 1, the Emmett Till Interpretive Center will be closed to the public while undergoing major construction. Visitors will be able to visit and meet with staff inside the courtroom (2nd floor) at the Tallahatchie Second District Courthouse from 12 pm to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday. The Center is expected to reopen on September 23. Please monitor the website and social media for updates.​

The Emmett Till Interpretive Center is an official philanthropic and educational partner of the Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley National Monument. Co-located at 158 N. Court Street in Sumner, MS, the Emmett Till Interpretive Center and Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley National Monument strive to connect park visitors with the stories of Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley. The Emmett Till Interpretive Center provides tours and educational experiences throughout the Monument in Mississippi and at other areas significant to the Till story.
