On July 25, 2023, President Biden signed an Executive Order creating the Emmett Till & Mamie-Till Mobley National Monument. We would like to thank Congressman Bennie Thompson, the Tallahatchie County Board of Supervisors, and all of our supporters for their help in creating the new national monument.
However, this designation does not come with federal funding. We continue to depend on your generosity and donations to uplift the legacies of Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley through museum interpretation, public education, memorialization and historic preservation and community development. Donate here to help.

Surviving and Thriving:
COVID-19 in the Mississippi Delta
The Emmett Till Interpretive Center is currently producing an audio and video documentary project about how COVID-19 has affected communities in the Mississippi Delta. We will be releasing a new documentary about once a week. The goal of this project is to document in real time this historic event. We aim to capture not just the difficulties created by the pandemic but also how communities are coming together to support each other.
